Hyundai MMA-160

The Hyundai MMA-160 is a lightweight and incredibly versatile single phase ARC / MMA welder from Hyundai. Weighing in at just 6.0 kg, the Hyundai MMA-160 is easy to carry thanks to the adjustable harness and lightweight pressed powder-coated steel case for added corrosion resistance. Accessories include electrode holder with 2m cable, ground clamp with 1.5m cable, chipping hammer and wire brush, making the MMA-160 extremely cost effective.



The HYMMA-160 ARC welder has a stepless regulator for stepless regulation of the welding current with a low power supply for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding current (output current) of the HYMMA-160 can be controlled within the range of 10-160 Amps, making the HYMMA-160 adjustable for welding different materials and thicknesses of steel. Beware of lower quality models by always checking the 'Duty Cycle'. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period that the welder can be used, at a given output. For example, our 160A welder has a 35% duty cycle when used on 160A output. This means it cannot be used for three and a half minutes for every 10 minutes. Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain Amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Always check the duty cycle to make sure you are getting the best value for money.



The inverter technology used within the Hyundai welders has certain advantages over more traditional transformer welders.
